Dhurata Thanasi Daneri is the founder of the well-known brand “Luga e Argjendte”. In 2012 Luga e Argjendte started as a blog to share the history and stories about Albanian recipes. In a short period of time, Luga e Argjendtë turned into one of the most popular blogs for Albanian food culture and the promotion of a long life, both inside and outside Albania (40 thousand followers). Then, Luga e Argjendtë expanded from a virtual platform, to the first store with 100% local products obtained directly from farmers and producers of all Albanians. Then Luga e Argjendtë transformed into a restaurant, located inside Tirana Castle and focused on increasing the supply chain of farmers and producer by receiving Albanian products directly from the source of production. Dhurata promotes the popular slow food movement and educates children in schools and kindergartens on cooking techniques and seasonal produce through Luga e Argjendte.

Dhurata Thanasi is a collector and promoter of ancient and autochthonous Albanian recipes and organizer of culinary events which focus on the promotion of the culinary culture of Albania. Dhurata Thanasi is well acquainted with the Balkan culture and has a long experience working in the Southeast Balkan region.
